  China Wok Main St in Altavista... This place was great.. I think its one of the best chinese buffets I've ever had. Great selection and the food was fresh and really good. I came for lunch at about 1PM and there were several tables full. I overheard 2 ladies talking about the place and saying *This place is a gem*. and saying *its a local favorite, if another chinese restaurant opened up, they would go out of business*. Thats saying a lot. The locals obviously think highly of this place.
  
  The owner usually stands in the front. He's a chinese guy. They have a white lady as a waitress, I was a little disappointed the waiter/waitress wasn't chinese but thats OK. The white lady had sort of poor customer service skills, but she was friendly enough. She seemed to enjoy her job and she made sure I was satisfied. Upon leaving, the owner talked to me about what I was doing in Altavista and asked several questions. The owner is a bit of a motormouth, and his questions were kind of prying, but I had a good time talking to him. He definitely talks too much but it probably won't bother you. I saw a few people chatting with him while paying and none of them seemed to mind he talked a little excessively.
  
  Overall a GREAT place. I would recommend without hesitation.
